| Welcome to your IBDIS.NET Newsletter February 2008! 1. IBDIS Workshop Barcelona Spain. More than 30 national representatives from ECCO used the IBDIS workshop on 19th Jan in Barcelona to get in touch with the IBD documentation system. Two comprehensive patient files were captured by the participants with data about epidemiologoy, diagnosis, risk factors and therapy. Two parameters of the Montreal classification were used to run a spontaneous interobserver agreement analysis. The representatives gave very good feedback and were pleased by the features of IBDIS. 2. ECCO congress 2008 - YECCO meeting, Lyon. Walter Reinisch from the general hospital in Vienna and Nikolaus Pedarnig from IBDIS will both take part in the YECCO meeting in Lyon during the ECCO congress. They will present IBDIS and the next projects (registries and steps for validation). 3. General Hospital in Vienna (AKH) decides in favour of IBDIS, Vienna. The IBD Group of AKH Vienna now uses IBDIS for comprehensive patient documentation of IBD patients. The IBDIS Software Category 2 (personalized patient data) is integrated into the IT infrastructure. 4.
